So my husband and I are getting separated

We had problems before the marriage, I should have trusted my gut and got out then, but I thought I had a bad case of wedding jitters..now its still here and it turns out he never wanted these boys. I feel like Im going to throw up. Ive thought long and hard about it and I am still getting those boys. Ive done all of the work, all of the communicating with them,,Ive paid every dime towards this adoption..they are my children, and although I had hoped to give them a nice happy home with a loving father, Im glad I found this out NOW before they got here. I am not asking for anyones advice..my mind is made up ..I have thought this through COMPLETLY, but I could use alot of hugs!!! Please

i am SOOOOO sorry to hear this. i see your mind is made up, so i hope that you two have an amicable separation. But most of all I wish you all the luck in the world with your new boys. They are lucky to have you. I am sure it will be hard, but you are strong and will be able to deal with it.
Look towards the future with your boys and try not to dwell on the sad stuff so much. I am sure things will be ok for you in no time.

You guys are so nice!! I really am ok..just wish he would have mentioned this the THOUSAND times I asked if we should adopt or not...he always said yes..oh well..I will be ok..Im just TERRIFIED to be a single mom..beyond terrified..

Alicia , there just aren't enough words to express how sad I am to read about your marital problems ...

I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through, what with the adoption and everything else... it must be a roller coaster of emotions

Alicia, I am so sorry!!!!

I am in shock. You are such a wonderful person, and you are doing so much to help those boys have a better life--you will be a GREAT Mom--you already are--I am sorry you and Dex are having problems!

you are an incredibly strong woman, with an incredibly humongous heart and soul...although it may not be clear now, but this has happened for a reason. You ARE meant for those boys!! Thank you!!! This was my decision...not that it makes things any easier, things have just been really not good for along time..im pretty sure he has someone on the side..because he hasnt really been too much of a husband..he denies it, and it really doesnt matter at this point, I deserve a loving husband who is kind to me and there for me and who can communicate with me for gods sake. This adoption we entered into because of HIM, I asked OVER and OVER if he wanted this. the reality is, there were problems before this, I just blamed it on me and thought this was how marriage was. I was naive and stupid and I know that I will be ok. I will be happier alone than with a useless husband.
