Alicia, I am so sorry to hear this!!! But no matter what type of father figure these boys have in their life, you as their mother is more than anyone could ever ask for. The love you already have for these two is unsurpassed and that alone will be enough to get you through this.

There is nothing I can say. My prayers and love go out to you and your two beautiful boys. They will have a wonderful mother,that is for sure. I know it's extremely painful, but be grateful that you found out now before the boys had to be involved in the split. I'm watching my mother go through this after 32 years of marriage and feeling the pain all my life of a dad who never really wanted me either (I was also adopted)... it's really awful, and I know it's absolutely terrible for you right now, but it's so much better to find out after one year than after a lifetime. Let me know if you ever need anything. You are going to be a great mother to those boys. I really believe everythng happens for areason and god never gives us anything we can't handle. Your new life is Biruk and Paulo, and we are all praying for it to be a happy one.

I've read all your posts and I know what a strong woman you have been and WILL be. The most important thing a child needs is love and you have more than enough of that for those boys so no matter where you live or how much money you have they will be rich with blessing!
