We had problems before the marriage, I should have trusted my gut and got out then, but I thought I had a bad case of wedding jitters..now its still here and it turns out he never wanted these boys. I feel like Im going to throw up. Ive thought long and hard about it and I am still getting those boys. Ive done all of the work, all of the communicating with them,,Ive paid every dime towards this adoption..they are my children, and although I had hoped to give them a nice happy home with a loving father, Im glad I found this out NOW before they got here. I am not asking for anyones advice..my mind is made up ..I have thought this through COMPLETLY, but I could use alot of hugs!!! Please

I can't imagine what you are feeling...becasue I am in shock just reading this...
IF there is ANYONE in the world who will be able to do this - it is you. You are strong beyond comprehension. You are loving beyond words. You are an amazing, thoughtful, caring person who is always thinking of how she can help others. And even in this time of uncertainty, you are thinking of those wonderful boys. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!

I am sooooo sorry to hear about this. I don't even know what to say. You are such a strong, caring, loving woman and you will give those boys a wonderful, loving home.

I know this has to be devastating for you.

You are doing the right thing. It is better that the boys have one parent who absolutely loves them and would do anything...then to grow up in a home with two parents and know one of them doesn't want them there.

OMG I am so sorry to hear this I was shocked when I read your post. I think it is so wonderful and selfless that you are taking on the boys Like everyone said, we are all here for you - we should have a GTG to welcome the boys - like a picnic or something!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles. Remember that now is the time to rely on your family and friends for support - they will be there in your time of need. And soon, when the boys arrive, you will know more happiness than you could have ever imagined. It may be difficult but so worth it. Many, many to you!!!

I wish I knew something to say that hasn't been said before. God Bless you and what you are doing for these boys. Maybe you will make some nice friends with other adoptive parents (I am sure there is a support group or something for them). I am sorry you are dealing with this now. I know you must be afraid, but don't worry, when you see those boys smiling and feeling their hugs, you will know that you are okay.

Having been through a divorce myself, I know how painful it is and how difficult it is to make the decison to leave the relationship. I think its wonderful that you are still planning on adopting the boys.
