with exactly two weeks to the wedding, my grandmother fell and broke her leg. it is doubtful that she will ever walk again, let alone down the aisle, if she even makes it down from mass for the wedding.
i am beside myself. she is my only living grandparent, and it was really important for me to have her there. now it doesnt look like it is going to happen.
UPDATE: thank you all for your care and concern! your prayers must be working, so keep it up! she just got out of surgery, and she has a titanium pin from her knee to her hip keeping her femur together. shell only have an air cast, and the doctor seems tothink shell be able to come down for the wedding!
