Fh called me downstairs with a concerned voice and he said one of our dogs was dead. Her name was bernadette and she was the absolute best dog in the world. I have been stressed for the last two weeks and she has played and smiled each day and helped to make me feel better. We have no idea why this happened and it is so strange b/c our two babies (bernadette & buttercup) have been so healthy.

I really don't know what to do. Buttercup won't have her big sis anymore. I don't know if i need to get her a companion. Opinions?? i'm still in shock.

sorry about the loss of your dog...i had to put my dog to sleep two years ago and i still get upset about it :o(

Im so sorry for your loss...... some advice from someone who lost not one but two kittens in a four month period.... def find out why your dog passed.... my one cat had a fatal disease which usually occurs in kittens... they told us to wait two months- clean and throw out anything that the kitten had touched or ate from and then when the two months was over the virus should have disappeared from the house and we could get another kitten..... in the meantime...we did everything we were supposed to and waited those two months and then got another kitten since we didnt want our older cat to be alone... well he passed after about 2 months so please find out what caused your poor puppy to pass and see what your options are.... I would HATE anyone to have to experience what I went through last summer...... not one but two loses!
