Something besides table numbers?

Tables that represent us should be the racetracks that we've been to or maybe favorite drivers or just do their numbers so that there's not a 1 - 18 kind of thing going on. Really mess with people. LOL

Since our favors are going to be LOVE related, the idea of different ways to say love is a great idea. But after seeing the idea of the conversation heart sayings (and looking at a package of sweethearts wedding hearts from the Running of the Brides), I'm totally confused. I just might relinquish this decision to Groomzilla.

Is there something both of you like? For example, a sports team: name the tables after players..or if you travel- after countries you've visited..

My friend did words like faith, hope, love, etc in italian.

I think since I'm really big pn photography I'm going to incorporae pictures somehow. Either places that are special to us, or we also love Disney, so maybe pics of us diff places at Disney. So one tabel can be 'Cinderella's Castle' 'Spaceship Earth' 'The Tree of Life' 'California Grill' etc.

Or maybe Broadway shows, or couples from Broadways shows.

You could also do love songs, and then print the lyrics on the other side of the table number

'Some Enchanted Evening'
'Only you'
'At last'

etc.

I am using love in different languages and have a poem for the placecard table explaining it. and then each language is on the table card. the people I lived with in sweeden are sitting at the sweedish love table etc. some other ideas I have seen

Broadway shows (table cards were playbills)
Places they have been/hope to go
Favorite date spots
Famous Neighborhood spots (brooklyn people used this)
Famous/romantic landmarks or citiies(eiffle tower, gondalla rides,)
Famous Couples


um i will keep thinking but thats all i got for now

A friend of mine had her reception at Flowerfields and her tables were flowers. She printed the picture of the flower with is name on clear labels and put them on the place cards.
I also I read in a magazine this weekend that a couple used their favorite romantic movies.

Awww I was babysitting my 2 yr old niece last week and we watched Ratatouille and the main (human, not rat, lol) character's last name was Linguini!!

I know!! haha... FH always jokes around about it!

We did not do table numbers... instead we did 80's music that we love..
This was all designed by my DH.

this is a really cute idea. having each table be a diff year and putting pics up of you and fh during that year. I have also seen people use each table as a different island or name of wine.
