Its not that people should not vent. Obviously things had been going on so why not vent about it while going through it and maybe asking for advice on to how the situation, that is different. My only thing is and this isn't just towards LIW but life in general, watch when you bad mouth your loved ones because you leave that impression with somebody and then later on down the road you can't get mad if someone has that impression of your SO bc they got it from you.

I know girls and can think of specific situations where they just bad mouthed their SO so much and complained all the time. Then they get very upset if people say something to them like 'why do you let him treat you like that ' and then always have to defend their SO.

I know exactly who you are talking about and me and anoth 08er were talking about this yesterday/last night. if the wedding is called off, for whatever reason, take the time to nurture the relationship and put all of your effort into making it work instead of going to look at halls the next day

i think the same way as you.

esp when people are upset about something...but then they post about how excited they are for something else within the same hour.

its like what are you..happy or sad?

I think the entire problem is - if you cant find a way to reolve your problem now - then things are just going to keep getting more difficult later on. You have to make changes and not think everytime you aruge that you're gonna break up. Deal with the problem at hand!!

ehh people are just different ages on this site - and i dont mean actual age i mean mental age

if i was on this site a few years ago . . . when i was in college, that would have been me LOL i thought it was over a billion times and would have come crying to you girls about it!

but now that our relationship has matured NO ONE knows when we are fighting and we work things out

i know someone who tried to get married THREE times, called it off all three ( same guy ) then finalyl got married and divorced less than a year later . . . sometimes you just WANT it to work so bad. . .but it just isnt happening!

then its updated like a day or 2 later : with soemthing like 'we are back together'

post 2: same day as update: something like 'we looked at halls today'

huh??? am i the only one who finds these posts strange?

What im trying to say here is that.. its wierd how one day someone is broken up - wedding OFF - posting and asking for words of spport, then the next day they are back together and looking at halls again... to me.. it's like. take a moment, make sure everything is okay.. then look at halls.. its almost like it never happened

I know what you're talking about...clearly if every little fight means you're calling off the wedding then your not mature enough to get married in the first place.

haha i agree...its also calls for a huge bowl of cookies and cream icream with hersheys syrup sunday nite watchin sweet home alabama...
