I am wearing a chiffon dress, it's slim fitting, although not exactly straight. All the bridal slips, even the Aline ones are either poofy along the way, or at the bottom with gathers. Does anyone know where I can get a SLIM Aline bridal slip???
I think that is the ruffle Liz was talking about. Thats the same one they kept having me try on too.

Re: Speaking of slips.............
the reason they make you wear a slip even if your dress has crinoline is so it doesnt gather between your legs when you walk. Beleive me I didnt not want a slip, but the lady let me try with and without it made a difference.

Re: Speaking of slips.............
Betty, are you going to wear a corset? If you are, you could probably pull the waist of the slip under the corset, so you'll stay smooth.

No, I wasn't planning on wearing a corset. Just a strpless bra.
Thats what they told me too Wacky. The problem is my dress is so long now that I can't walk right in it so I can't actually see it go between my legs.
Its going to be soooo HOT in August with extra stuff to wear

Why is it so long. THey need to take it up. the only ohter thing if you dont wear the slip is the dress sometimes doesnt fall right.
Its such a pain being a woman

Hey ladies, I'm here for a few minutes.
Those slips ar a little better (the ones that are a-line w/no ruffles) They are kinda like the one Tara posted earlier. Like Betty said, the one on top of this page is what I was talking about wacky - it has the ruffle on the bottom
I wonder if it will still be puffy though.

Love your dress, Lizlen you should wear something so the gown will lay better. Just my opinion. I know the effect of the dresses is its flowiness. But remember all the princess wore a slip under their dresses..

Re: Speaking of slips.............
What kind of slip/crinoline would be good for my dress? It has a little bit off tulle under the dress already, but i think it may need more. Any ideas?
