Work and live in Nassau. DH and I are lucky actually because we both have about 10-15 minute commutes!

I live in Northport and commute to East Meadow.

Only for about two months when I first moved in with DH did I commute in NYC (Met Life Bldg). Before that I communted from Jackson Heights.

I live in Nassau and work in NYC. I hate the commute, but the $$ is mcuh better.

I live in eastern suffolk and work in nassau.

Six months ago though, I lived in western suffolk and worked in NYC.

Left for a better job, better pay and better benefits!!!

what is the weekly cost of commuting for you. I am at 33.00 a week, going up to 40.00 a week in feb.

I live in Nassau and work in Nassau. I have no costs because my job supplies me a vehicle.

I live in Jersey City andd work in the city.

I used to live in Astoria and worked in Jericho and it was the WORST
I HATED it.
I couldn't WAIT to get back to the city.

DH commutes to Westbury.
We are moving to East Northport soon, so I'm glad his commute will be shorter. (mine too, but I feel bad his is so long)

Up until last year I lived in Ronkonkoma, and worked in Mid-town. It was about a 2 hour commute each way.

Then I moved to michigan, and now I only drive 7 miles. It's the only good thing about being in Michigan. (well and my apartment, I love it)
