I was SO scared to drive I didn't take my road test until I graduated High school I was 18.

I passed on my fourth try.

But the irony is, I am the Queen of Paralell Parking, since I have to do it so often at work and at home. It's my only gift.

i made a right at a red light without coming to a complete stop.

the lady was a huge b*tch and smelled like fried chicken.

I passed the first time. My DH is a twin and they took their test the sdame day, my DH passed, but his brother failed.

Just once. But don't laugh...It was the state trooper's first day on the job, and I was his first driving test ever!! He was so nice though, and because he was a little nervous, it helped me to relax. I would have felt much worse if it was some mean guy testing me.

first time i failed bc i didnt stop at an all way stop sign, it was like 6 intersections.

My poor father had my twin brothers (1yr olds) and my sister (2yrs old) at the time I needed to do my test. The kids were screaming because they were hungry and my sister was having a tantrum because no one was paying attention to her. My father literally yelled at me from outside the DMV while I was approaching my first stop sign 'Hurry up, we gotta feed the kids!'

My first stop sign was on a hilly street corner with shrubs. I slowed but didnt fully (count to three) stop because I couldnt see the traffic. So I rolled the stop. The trooper was nice said 'Try to tell your dad to be calm next time and try to count to three, ok?' Turn around immediately FAIL, disobeying a traffic sign.

ARGH

Second time I aced it .. BUT after an AWESOME parallel parking the trooper in my car nearly failed me immediately. I was so proud bright eyed, I wanted her to check the distance (which was perfect) that she noticed my eyes. Said I wasn't wearing both contacts and was going to fail me for unsafe driving. I literally started to cry and begged that I could take out my contacts. She passed me.

This was Texas of course. I took no driver's ed (why pay for it?) So they're rougher.

everyone I knew got their license at 16. I waited until I could get it without Drivers Ed (18). so shameful
