Spinoff of Home Depot Kitchen

I was just telling my mom about the kitchen and the prices. She proceeds to say 'Do you think you will be able to get a loan since you already have 2 car loans'. I lease my car and my dh has a loan from our credit union. My mom ALWAYS has a way to get me down. I am sooo excited about getting a new kitchen as soon as my dh gets a raise and not this is a downer for me-lol! I really don't think I will have a problem getting a loan but now I am getting nervous that I won't!!!

Don't let mom get you down, some parents are just worriers (my mom is the same way)...I've learned to tune my mom out when she does this.

I know I should just ignore her, like my sister does but I think I still have this 'I want to make my parents proud' kind of thing going on which I don't know when I will be able to stop thinking that way. I feel like my mom still thinks I am 7 years old and can't make any decisions by myself. Ugghhh!
