we splurged on the photographer and the band (music)

we haven't really skimped on anything yet but i'd say maybe favors and the fact that i decided not to do the vienesse

ok this question gets me grossed out with my wedding

i feel like ive splurged on everything... fh is going to have me shot

i always say im going skimp out on certain stuff but then i see the splurge version and i cant control myself.... if there like AA meetings for shopaholics? cuz i seriously need to get there before i book everything lol

splurge: So far only my dress...may end up splurging on lighting and ceremony music but prob not or only one of the two

Splurge....photography and dress

skimp...invites,favors centerpieces...Both are DIY

Still not sure if we need limos. the Bridal sweet is to small for all of us to get ready so we need to be ready by the time we get there.

skimping: invites, stds, no e-party, i guess you could say favors even though i like them a lot but them seem cheaper than many others, dessert (no vh), having a Sunday wedding

splurgng: video, i guess you could say rh because we couldve gotten away about 3-4K cheaper but decided to go with the place we loved even though it was more. oh and havent gotten to it yet but will be willing pay as much as i need to on hair and makeup

everything else i think is pretty average priced

Splurging on: Probably my dress, its 1k over my budget. Everything else I was under budget on, thanks to my wonderful mother who is awesome at negotiating.

Skimping on: Favors, limos ( just need the basics).

we honestly have not skimped on anything and won't be. I want to make my own place cards and menus but my parents said No!

Splurging: makeup, photography, favors

Skimping: flowers ( I feel like these should look nice but are the least important for me, considering they die the next day)

Everything else that we have booked or ordered for the wedding feels like it's within the budget.

Skimping-Favors-got them for 75% off, limos-not having them

Splurging-the BP gifts-most likely paying for girls makeup along with already purchased gifts and buying the guys burberry ties and also invites

I'm definitely skimping on church decorations. I'm making my own pew decorations and ceremony programs.

I'm also skimping on my veil; bought a $30 mantilla and I'm going to decorate it myself.

Skimping on bouquets also; I'm making the BM bouquets myself.

I'm splurging on the RH and food and the DJ; these things make or break a reception. We got a great deal on the photo/video; so we didn't spend too much.

I guess I would say I'm also splurging on my wedding attire. My gown wasn't expensive but that is because I'm also buying a very expensive Indian outfit for the wedding.

I am def skimping on the flowers....and as for splurging I havent to seem to plurge on anything...to me I am keeping everything at a good medium (so far of course )
