St. Kevin girls

I met with the organist this weekend. He was the NICEST guy ever. Out of all the vendors I've dealt with so far, he's my favorite (is it okay to call church a vendor?? ) Wish I had to deal with him for more things. Anyway, just thought I'd share because he made me look forward to the ceremony. He also played some samples pieces for me and he did a beautiful job.

Aww that's good to hear, too bad we have a string quartet lol. I'm really glad you're so happy about him though, yay!!

I have trumpet players but they organist will play along with them for some songs.

Which priest are you dealing with? We're having Father Lou. So far so good. But I've heard the woman that does rehearsal is really mean. haha. Hoping that's not true!

Which priest are you dealing with? We're having Father Lou. So far so good. But I've heard the woman that does rehearsal is really mean. haha. Hoping that's not true!

Oh gosh that probably is true, I feel like all the women there are so touchy lol. Our DOC will be handling the rehearsal so she can deal with her hopefully haha.

We were originally dealing with Father Lou but didn't have the greatest experience at first, all in all he's fine, but Fr. Finnerty will be marrying us.

fr finnerty is marrying us too ....... he is great !!

fr finnerty is marrying us too ....... he is great !!

I wasn't happy w Father Lou at first either - but then I met him in person and our meetings have since been very pleasant. I think he just has really bad phone manners lol. Oh well, as long as we end up married it's all good!

I was just confirmed at St. Kevin's yesterday!! So far all the people I've worked with have been great. Our wedding is scheduled with Father Lou but we really love Msgr. Finnerty! We are going to ask if he will do our wedding but I'm not sure because we are having a ceremony and not a full mass.

Congrats! I'm sure if he's available he'll be able to perform the cermony. But if you end up with Father Lou go meet him in person. He's more personable that way and is very accomodating. I've been in weddings before where the officiant is so strict about the religious portion of it that they don't let you go outside the box. Fr Lou is pretty much open to whatever you want to do.

Thanks for the advice!! We are definetly going to ask Msgr. but if he can't do it atleast I know Fr. Lou is good
