St. Martin of Tours in Amityville?
I have called repeatedly for weeks now and still havent heard from the preist!!!! FH and I went to the parish and wanted to maybe get an apt by going in... but no and still no call back??? Although the receptionist did tell us the date was available! But now almost two months of calling and no response we went to FH chuch which made an apt for the week we called! They are available for our date and we have it on hold but we are still waiting to hear back from St.Martins.... Has anyone gotten married there or is getting married there??? I just dont understand why they wont call back!!!!

Re: St. Martin of Tours in Amityville?
I went through the exact same thing when I was trying to set my date. I became best friends with Blossom. I ended up calling and begging her to call me on my cell phone when Fr. Rick walked in. I then called back and she put him on the phone. Once I spoke to him and made the appt to go in and meet with him, everything ran super-smoothly.I loved pre-cana with Deacon Ferri and his wife. We didn't do a mass and Deacon Ferri performed our ceremony which was so beautiful and amazing.
I know it's not easy but keep trying to call. I can tell you that I was told the best time to call the rectory was Saturday mornings before confession (which is at 1:30 I think).
Good luck - let me know how it goes.

Oh and by the way - don't tell Fr. Rick you already have your hall booked - he hates that. I got married in November too and I think they finally set up my appt for Feb or March. We did pre-cana in the spring.

No problem. Just call Blossom and ask her if she can call you when Fr. Rick walks in. She's a sweetheart.

If this church doesn't work out, I know another church in Massapequa: Our Lady of Lourdes. I went to school there, the church is beautiful.
