We are inviting about 200 people and sending about 110 total invitations (A-list). How many people should I send STD’s too? I mean I don’t want to send it to like coworkers – where theres always a chance they wont be around in 3 months when the invites go out. Is it normal to send them to the WHOLE guest list or do you just send them to the “most important” people? What did everyone else do?

I am sending my STD's out to people whom I know are definitely coming-- the A list. The B and C list people will not be getting one. My coworkers aren't getting one because, just as you said, they may not be around for long.

I just sent mine to the most important, to ppl out of town, etc. I think it should just be ppl you KNOW you want there.
I also only sent one per family...for ex. my aunt and uncle have three kids all over the age of 18. Although they will get 4 invitations to that household i only sent one STD.

We sent them to everyone we were sure we were inviting, bridal party, family, friends, etc. Just like you said, no co workers or anyone we weren't sure would be around by the time of the wedding.

This is kinda bad but we didnt send them to extended family who we have to invite but don't really want to. Maybe they won't 'save the date' and will have something planned. Also..be careful if you don't send them to the whole list and then people who didn't get them see them at other's houses.

we only sent to out of towners (which is about 50% of the guest list) , the bridal party and very close friends.

we did not send to everyone- only the people we KNEW would be invited-guest lists always change- extended family/parents friends/coworkers.. some people you dont want to 'save the date' dont send it to them!

I gave them out as the favor for those people invited to my engagement party. For those who could not make it, I mailed i to them. Basically only close friends and family.

we sent ours to our immediate family and to our closest friends. Pretty much anyone that was getting an invitation received one.
