Anyone know a good steak house in Suffolk County. I want to take my FH for dinner on Saturday for our 10 year anniversary, and since I am a vegetarian, I have no clue where to take him. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Glad nobody said Outback. I don't know why people love that place so much. I ate there twice and didn't care for it either time.

PG's steakhouse. It is is Huntington I think. It is really good, but expensive. I don't think it is good for vegetarians though

I second Tellers! The Argyle in Babylon Village would be great for both of you. (If you go, and you eat shrimp, get the shrimp & grilled veg tower. They have it as an appitizer without shrimp if you don't.Yummy! )

JR's Steakhouse in Stonybrook is really good. Not fancy, very casual, but good! They have alot of other stuff besides steak as well.

I'll echo Tellers. I'm a huge food snob from being in Manhattan too long and I was thoroughly impressed. As was DH, who's about 1000 times harder to please. Worth every penny, especially for a special occasion and the ambiance is really cool too.

Re: Steakhouses in Suffolk
My father and I have a steak dinner once a week after work in the city. I LOVE steak of all types and I think Teller's is the best steaks, but this little place in Oakdale called Rockefellers South Street Grille was so amazing, they had a perfect cut of filet mignon wrapped in bacon and this light but very tasty sauce.... oh, it was the best ever including all the Steakhouses in NYC, like Gallegers, Mortons, Sparks, Max and Angies, out did them all!!!
