Nope I love my ring. i tried on a center stone 3 karat & thought it was hideous on me to big. I have small hands. I wear a size 4.25...small
i have a center stone 2 K & side stones are 1.25

Well Fh cooked breakfast for us & made it somewhat romantic &then sat me on his kneee & asked me to marry him.

Never set a budget & yes i have spentmore then ithought but wouldnt change a thing!

3. Was the proposal a complete surprise? Not really, FH can't keep a secret. My parents thought it was a surprise though, so we left it that way.

6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like. We went to AC for my 30th birthday and the night before my birthday party with friends and family, we went out for a romantic dinner and he proposed there.

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding? We are going to Thailand, and we are leaving the next day!

9. Do you have a wedding budget? If so do you think you'll go over? I have a general budget, and we have done a good job sticking to it. We have cut out some things we consider unecessary to save some money and it is working out well.

Romantic - it was at our fav restaurant and we sat at the 'best seats in the house'!

Yes we do and we're on target! A few splurges, but that's allowed!!

-------yes and no... i thought it was gonna happen on our cruise, and i happened to be right so fh changed things up and surprised me the week before

--------we're going on a cruise to the bahamas, and land vacay in aruba...we fly out the day after the wedding

--------we have a vague budget, but its there lol... im trying my hardest not to go over bc i think spending what we're already spending is a bit redic

It was a complete surprise to me...I knew we were going to get engaged it was just a matter of when. It had been almost two months since he asked my parents permission so I just thought it was never going to happen. He proposed in front of his family. They took pictures and had a video camera set up. I would have liked my parents to be there too.

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding?
I would have liked to go to Italy but it's cold in January there. So we are going on a cruise to the southern Caribbean.

No...I think he is buying it lol

Yes and no...and if we have over 120 RSVP yes then yes.

4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small? nope..its perfect! center stone is 2.33 and all together its over 3.5 carats! LOVE IT!

Explain how if you'd like. both...on our 1st valentines together i got him a journal and in it was questions that i filled in about him..kind of like a love story. there was a place to fill in a coupon and on the coupon i wrote...'good for one proposal..to spend the rest of our lives together...cash this in one day and i will say yes'. It was a mushy joke when we first started dating but he kept that coupon and did indeed cash it in years later!

7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding? we are going to Ireland but waiting until the end of Spring because it will be a bit warmer...February is not the best time to go so we are going to wait!

If so do you think you'll go over? we never really set and actual number but since we are paying ourselves we have been aware of everything we spend. it's exciting to me because since we have done such a great job paying everything off (with cash-no credit) it makes me feel good about our future together...like we can do anything!

6. I wouldn't call the proposal 'romantic' - there were no candles, no love poems or speeches, no rose petals or anything like that - but it was cute and creative and a big surprise. Our dog was included which was very cute and it was very 'us'. My FH really wanted to surprise me, and he did.

Yessss!! I kew it was going to happen eventualyly but he proposed in the bahamaes and I was not expecting that at all

It was both agian it was in the bahamas and it was in the most romantic spot by the beach on a cte swing , near the gazebo where everyone gets married, I know he really tried to make sure it was romantic and diff. and it def was for me

We are going to Sandals St. Lucia Resort and Spa, we are going 2 days after the wedding

No we are taking it out of our wedding fund for both bands

We do have one or should I say had one lol we went over but not by much. wE are paying for everything ourselves so we both know we cant afford to go over by much.

More than I wanted...I absolutely love it!!!

I knew it was coming soon but I had no clue that it
would happen on the day that it did.

It is perfect just the way it is...it's 2.5 carats plus a .5
carats in side stones. It's more than I ever hoped for.

No because we are on a balloon ride and if you
moved the slightest bit the whole basket would start
moving around like crazy so I was just anxious to get
to the ground.

if you'd like.
It was extremely romantic and creative, he took me
on a balloon ride over central park and the views
were amazing.

We are going to Hawaii for 17 days and we are
getting married on a Saturday and we leave on
Monday

Of course

We are definitely going over even though we never
sat down and made a formal budget. In my head it's
over whatever it would have been.

-he proposed on our 1 year anniversary!

-Yup!! He had asked months earlier for a pic

-I knew it would happen sometime in the summer, but I was totally surprised being that he proposed at 8:30am the morning of our anniversary.

-Very creative. He saved a note I had written to him inscribed into a glass globe.

-Our wedding is a Saturday, we'll probably leave for the hm either the sunday or monday. We would like to go to Europe, but we'll see.

We are going to Vegas. We are leaving the Sunday after our wedding. Our wedding is on a Friday.

He is wearing his father's wedding band.

We do have a budget and I have a feeling we may go over it a little.

A year and 7 months... but we were friends for about a year before that.

Yes! I couldn’t have picked a better ring for myself.

I knew it was coming soon, but he had tricked me into thinking it was still a few months away.

Well I don’t think ANYONE would say they wanted smaller. I think mine is the perfect size for my hand, but of course I wouldn’t complain if it was bigger.

I didn’t cry at first, but after a few minutes when it really hit me I was like sobbing! haha

He did it on St. Patricks Day and made a scrapbook page for me. The whole story is in my albums. :)

We would LOVE to go to Hawaii but it’s kinda out of our budget - and Austrailia too but it's winter there when we're getting married! So instead I’m 99% sure we’re going to Sandals in St. Lucia.

We’ve already combined our wedding savings, so we’ll probably just pay for both of our rings out of that.

Definitely have a budget and am REALLLY hoping we don’t go over it. I tried to plan for the worst with it and put in money I really hope we don’t spend!

romantic... had dinner at a fancy romantic restaurant then took a walk down by the water and got down on one knee in front of 200 ppl watching from the deck of the restaurant!

We would like to go to Mexico, probably 2 days after the wedding- have a day to recoup and hand with friends and family!

Absolutely! i knew it was coming but was expecting it during christmas. when it didnt happen i stopped WAITING and when he proposed on New Years I was in total shock!
