yes, gave him a picture of style I liked and he almost got an exact match

to me, yes. Even though a few friends kept hinting it was going to happen. Plus he threw me off a few days before and picked a fight while on vacation (as per him' to throw me off')

4. Do you wish you had a bigger/smaller diamond? If so How big or small?

I think it is perfect. I have a small hand (even though chubby fingers) so I have never been a fan of large rings.

5. Did you cry when he proposed?
I cried so much at first and had my napkin in my face I didnt answer for the first 5 mins or so. People around us may have thought he broke up with me.

6. Was the proposal romantic or creative? Explain how if you'd like.
FH surprised me 2 years ago with my first trip to Cali (san diego) and surprised me with a beautiful romantic dinner in La Jolla at an amazing restaurant. Since we booked another Cali trip this year, and knew its our 'thing' to go back to that restaurant I didnt think much of it.
Little did I know reason FH was being a bit odd through the first 1.5wks of our trip was because he had the ring with him.

We dressed up, had dinner reservations at our restaurant, The Marine Room in La Jolla (restaurant on the beach.Sunset is amazing and if its high tide the waves hit the glass). Since it was a bit crowded, we watched the sunset, had a great dinner and as it was winding down, towards dessert and the check, FH started holding my hand, looking at me and starts saying how great our trip has been, how much he loves me, looks at my fingers and is like ' your fingers are so cute, but empty, but I think I have something that would look great on....he goes into his suit jacket and 'voila' out comes a ring.

I began by saying 'stop playing around' and then began to cry as he places the open box on the table in front of me.



7. Where do you want to go for your honeymoon, and how soon after your wedding?
still havent decided but most likely italy. We are trying to leave the tuesday after the wedding since it is memorial day weekend.

YES!!! i told him what company i wanted the setting from and that i wanted one round diamond. but i also told him i didn't want a plain band, i wanted it to be traditional yet modern. he did a great job!

yes and no. i knew it was coming just not when. he popped the question the night i took him out to dinner.

no, it's so perfect.

i got a lil teary but i was also in shock.

it was totally him, that's the only way to put it.

haven't planned it yet but we'll probably leave a week after the wedding since my sister will be here with my niece from moscow and i don't see them often.

probably.

we have a budget and haven't gone over it....yet. i'm hoping we won't.

Neither, I was mad and arguing with him and he just got down on his knee.

We always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise so maybe we'll wait til the spring and just go to visit my family in Dominican Republic after the wedding, stay in a resort for a few days

Don't know, keeping it simple and cheap for now!

I knew it was coming so a thought crossed my mind, but when he actually did it I was suprised.

I think the size is just right.

I teared as did he, although he'd say otherwise . I didnt completely break down.

It was completely romantic. We walked down a pier outside of our hotel and he proposed on one knee overlooking a sunset.

We're going to Mexico and we leave two days after the wedding.

He bought both mine and his.

We had an original budget of $30,000 and yes we're over it.

Both. We went out to dinner and when we were finished eating he ordered dessert (weird bc hes not a dessert kinda person) then when it came out, on the plate written in chocolate was 'will you marry me?' then he got on his knee and proposed

Married on Saturday and leave for Honeymoon on Monday. Either Jamaica or Aruba

Yes! We were in Vermont and we were snow shoeing in the woods. It was SO beautiful and so romantic!!

We are going on a European cruise. It leaves 3 weeks after out wedding.

We actually split the cost of the bands between the two of us.

-------I wouldn't say it was romantic, but it definitely say it was us. I was laying in bed (in a t-shirt and underwear) trying to take a nap after being at the Air Show at Jones beach. I was about to tell him to leave me alone when he told me he loved me and put his hand into his pocket and pulled out my ring!! I was so surprised he had to tell me to put the ring on!!

--------We are still undecided between a relaxing beach vacation or a more active Disney one. I do know that we are leaving the monday after our saturday wedding where ever we are going!!

--------Both bands are coming out of our wedding fund.

------We set an intial budget, right now I think that we are on track. But the more time I spend on LIW the $$$ goes up. There I are so many great ideas on here.

I was ccalling our friend Heathers name, like looing for her... and I turned around and there he wa son one knee...Sorry, I said I woudl make it short oh well hehe

3. Yes it was. It happened at home and it was not extremely romantic, but very real and very us, since we both do not like corny things that much. As it happened at 2am in the morning, we had a lovely dinner with champagne the next day : ).
