Okay so my FH was in Atlantic City this past weekend for his friends bachelor party. And the last stop they made was to a strip club. Now there's nothing i can do about it. It was his friends bachelor party and i certainly don't expect my FH to sit anything out. But i had a few thoughts on the topic...

-lots of people say that it's their last chance to see some boobs or naked bodies. Now correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't the guys think of this before they put the damn ring on your finger? I mean when you give the girl a ring... it sort of means that she's it, doesn't it? And that she's the last person you're ever going to sleep with? So if you want to see more boobs or a*ses... shouldn't you wait to give her the ring or at least visit the strip club before you propose to get it out of your system? I mean how romantic is it that your FH has to go to a strip club right before he marries you? Wow that says romance to me!!!

-Okay so say your FH is at a bar and him and a group of people leave. Then he realizes he has to pee and this girl in the group says oh i'm right around the corner, you can use my bathroom (i know its far fetched, but keep with me). When your FH comes out of the bathroom, she all of a sudden comes out of the room naked.... shouldn't your FH feel awkward and that he shouldn't be seeing this, much less be there? That's its very inappropriate? So why is it okay to see someone naked as long as you PAY for it?

I know i'm rambling and all, but it just aggravates me. I mean just because some people say it's acceptable to pay to see naked women, doesn't mean that it's okay. If you're single, that's one thing. But especially when you're engaged... how is it appropriate or acceptable to see other naked women!?!?!?! My FH definitely wouldn't like me showing my goods to other people, so why would it be okay for him to see someone else's goods?

He didn't have to be 'told'. He agreed with me, and said 'if a person wants that, then why get married?' and I promised him I wouldn't have a bachelorette party with male strippers also. I don't get why it's so hard to grasp the concept that not every man wants that, but I have no problem explaining it here, because this thread alone may get me my 1000th post t-shirt before my wedding!

As a previous poster said, whether other brides' FHs go to strip clubs for their bachelor party or not simply isn't my problem.

I agree. A lot of people complain about their FIs not caring about the planning at all. I think it's a nice change to see a guy taking as much interest as his FW in the wedding.

Only problem with that is he has been married for 2 years so I doubt he has any planning left to do

Of course its a business , I'm sure Ron realizes that more members the more vendors and other would pay to advertise onthis site.

I guess the reason I ask is because and I think you would agree most men would not be on a brides helping brides board especailly when they are already married.

My FH actually was the one that introduced me to this site, and has taken perhaps more initiative than me in planning our wedding. However, he's never created a name nor has he posted to it under mine, let alone allow himself to engage in an online cat fight with a bunch of girls. I think if he did that, as he says it, he would have to 'kick his own a$$!'

Actually I hardly post on this website anymore... unless I get a FM from someone asking about a vendor I used.

But when I do come here now... its usually for one reason... entertainment.

Someone will email me a link to a particular thread if its just so outrageous. (which is what happened in this case)

And believe me... after hearing some stories in this thread... it was WELL worth the read.
