Stupid thing to be sad about, but i am

Heres a little background: My BP is all in college and the only time that our breaks coincide is winter break (which we're on now). Since they go to school all over the place and the only time I planned on coming home from school was this break (from now til the wedding I'll be in CT) I was fairly certian that my shower would be sometime between dec. 20th and January 14th.

Anyway....nothing is coming off my registry (yes...im a peeker) and no one is really making sure that i dont make plans on a specific day. From what I understand, my FMIL isnt even certain of WHERE its being hosted. So, I can reasonably say that my shower will most likely NOT be this winter. I'm so disappointed. partly because my grandma (who moved to Florida) was home for xmas and I was really hoping if they did it this winter break, my grandma would be able to make it to my shower. BUT, if its not this break, so wont be able to comeback again before the wedding I know this is so stupid to be upset over and its suppose to be a surpirse so i should shut up and let things happen on their own...but im disappointed and also kind of worried that if its not within the next week, i might not be available to come home whatever weekend they do plan it for.
