Should I take my engagement ring or leave it in a safe here? I'm going to Tahiti...I'll be swimming alot...not sure what to do!

I am ABSOLUTELY taking both . - Diamonds and all.......I would rather lose them or have them stolen FROM MY FINGER than have them stolen from my house b/c I was to afraid to wear them......but that's JMO. I also work in Manhattan and hear everyday from my friends on LI 'Oh my god, you wear your E Ring to the CITY ??' um....yeah, when would I get to wear it otherwise ? to bed ??

Both my husband and I left our rings with my In-laws.
Wherever you go on your HM, you have no idea what kind of people are out there. I was not chancing that I might loose it or it might get damaged in the water. I was definently not going to chance someone mugging me or stealing it from the hotel room.
ETA: These rings are important to us, they are not replaceable. My engagement ring was one of the happiest days of my life and our ceremony our rings were blessed. You can't replace those rings.

We took ours. I couldnt not wear them. I feel naked and they are new and we where on our honeymoon. The only time we really took them off was when we went snorkeling the front desk had safe deposit boxes. We where running late so we locked them in the safe they where fine!

I left my e-ring and just wore my wedding band. I was so happy that I didn't have to worry about it.

My E-ring is an extension of my finger. I wear it everywhere. My fiance once convinced me to leave it home when we went on a cruise, I was so mad at him the whole time, I couldn't stand not having it on. Now I wear it EVERYWHERE. I have insurance god forbid something happens.

We went to Aruba and I wore my e-ring as well as both of us wore our diamond wedding bands. Only took them off to go snorkeling and locked them in the safe.
