How do you get the 'deals' at the supermarket that your talking about.
I am so bad, i dont even use regular coupons, needless to say i have MAJOR shopping expenses everymonth, and now that we are moving into the new house I would love to start doing that.
Sorry if I sound not to bright, but i am really confused..

Michaels and everything that is sundays is in saturdays too so, yes you get two 40 off michaels coupons too!!

Anna: Thanks for the info!! I buy the newsday everyday (excluding weekends) at the LIRR station for 50 cents a day. So just by getting the subscription I am saving about 22 cents a day

can someone inform me of how the 'double the coupon' works? i shop at walbaum's all the time and never knew about this! i also hardly use coupons.. bad me!

lauren- waldbaums doubles up to 1.00 HOWEVER, depending on the cashier( look for a dummy! LOL) b/c they are not supposed to in waldbaums double multiple coupons, for example lets say you have save 50 cents on Ronzoni and you buy three ronzoni's and give them three of the same exact coupon--- the cashier is supposed to hit a certain key so that the first one doubles and takes off a dollar and the other two ONLY fifty and not double. Some of them just scan away and dont do what they are supposed to do
IN STOP AND SHOP however, I do better coupon wise b/c they double UP TO 1.00 and they double multiples, so at stop and shop those Three ronzoni coupons all would be doubled not just one like in waldbaums w/ most cashiers....... I noticed when I study my waldbaums receipt if I had two or three of the same coupon, sometimes they double and sometimes not depending on what the cashier did
Pathmark doubles ONLY up to 40 or 50 cents so if you have 1.00 off it just takes off a 1.00

Christine: I did a search and found that Stop and Shop on Northern Blvd (in Douglaston) doubles coupons upto .99cents.
This one is probably the same distance from us as the College Point Walbaums.
ETA: I wonder if the Keyfood on Utopia Pkway doubles coupons I'm going to have to find out. That store is not the greatest though. It's very small

yes, they double mfg from the paper but not if you have four of the same ones, but some dummy cashiers too, some dont lol Ill take you w/ me one day!

I have been here a few times they are much closer for me then college point. I didn't realize they double the coupons. Thanks!!

FYI: I went to the Walbaums website and it said that they will not accept coupons printed from the web b/c they've been getting a lot of conterfeit coupons.

King Kullen does not accept web ones anymore either havent seen signs at stop and shop yet but they might not either........
I dont shop at KK except when I am at work and go there for salad for lunch, they are very high compared to the others

so if I clipped a coupon for let's say 50 cents off of toothpaste, they will take off 1.00? and do they take ALL coupons?
