Re: Tattoos

FH has tons of tattoos already, both arms sleeved and some on his chest and back, and both legs from the knees down are basically covered. I have 1 large tattoo on both of my legs. I plan on getting something but nothing wedding related or anything with his name on it.

He said the only name he would ever put on him is his daughter/sons name. I agree with him. I do know that I want a tattoo of a cupcake! I have been wanting one forever, and since we have been saving for the wedding I can't affordo ne right now lol so yes, I will be getting a cupcake.

He wants a wedding band tattoo b/c he things jewelry is gay . :)

My friend got a tattoo of a ring on her ring finger. That one is impossible to cover up.

what color did she do? was it the regular black ink? you can still cover it up but only thing is that she can have the tattoo a bit bigger than the one she currently has. But depending on the design they can go over it, it would have to be bright colors and or more than 1 color to help with doing so and depending on the design too. Flowers actually are an easy way to cover it up, especially if you do a bright colored one.

I think they can technically 'cover it' but it represents marriage on that finger so whatever is there, it looks like an engagement ring you know what I mean??

oh duh, realized what you meant now, i thought you meant the actual covering up part. But yeah true, no matter what design is on there others will think its representing marriage lol. She would have to do a tat on other fingers to have ppl not think that and well she probably wouldnt want that

HAHAHAH! True! Imagine all the fingers with tats? She'll look like Mr. T!

ive seen some people who have love written on one hand and hate on the other but its also different bc doesnt go around the whole finger. Although it can distract from that one tat

We have talked about it and decided he would have our children's (god willing) names tattooed on him instead.

This could change but right now we think that is a better idea.

i think Dh is going to do this too, he has talked about getting our kids names tattooed and i am more than sure he will. He loves tats and even wanted a sleeve. For his bday he even asked for a tat

Part of Chris' wedding gift was new tattoo. He couldn't wait so he got it over the summer. It came out really nice -- it is a design with his four newphes initials in it. his other arm is saved for our kids. I want one too just haven't decided what or where. I used to want a butterfly on my lower back -- so glad I chickened out or I would have the now referred to tramp stamp!

awww thats so sweet that he did that and thats a nice gift from you.

I actually have a big tattoo on my lower back its ok i always hear ppl say a lower back tat is a tramp stamp so im used to it. One good thing is nobody has really said it to me, maybe bc of the size of it or who knows. It s*cks that its known as a tramp stamp bc its a good spot for a tat

just be careful where you get it done, they have a different method of tattoo'ing and its painful. I am sure they also have regular ones with the needle but in their tradition they have a common one thats different

i got the tramp stamp too thats the one i wish i could change or add too - its a butterfly its tribal, and its a nice tattoo - but i feel like its boring - it looks like something you get the day you turn 18

ETS: but i guess that is part of the point of tattoos -they show where you are at that point in your life KWIM?

i got the tramp stamp at 18 i like it still but its just funny bc i felt like such a rebel when i got it - it was so out of character for me but now like 12 year old girls are going with their preachers to get them done.

We said we were going to get wedding tattoos

one thing i was thinking of. Brody Jenner has this really pretty 'B' on the side of his wrist. . .I was thinking of getting an 'A' there and a cross on he side of the other wrist. . .

I change my mind all the time LOL

i'm hoping to finish it next month, i just want it done already. thing is, it looks really good now. the entire outline and some color is done. a lot of people think it's finished and compliment it. these are the only pics i have it so far, can't wait til it's done!

I thought about getting his horoscope sign and vise-versa but I highly doubt I would go through with it. He doesn't like tattoos on women, but I think if it would be a tat dealing with him he wouldn't mind...go figure Then again I would do it somewhere it isn't exposed (maybe at the beach...lol) But I don't want to get something I may regret later and not because it has to do with him but because I may not want it at a later time, and yes I know there is laser removal. Maybe I'll try a fake tat and see how I feel about it....
