Anyone have them? and are people asking you to cover them or take out the piercings?
I have tattoos and I refuse to cover them! I love my tattoos and I want them in my photos! Most of mine wont really show anyway except for a few pics with the garter and stuff.
Someone by my job was saying she wanted her bms to cover their tattoos and take out their piercings other than ears.. Anyone doing this?
I told my bms I dont want them covering anything or taking anything out. I want them in my wedding and picures just the way they are! <3
My grandma HATES my tattoos so Im sure she will say something if she sees them lol

I only have one tattoo on my hip and a belly piercing so they definitely won't be showing!
I would never make my bm's hide theirs though. two of mine have small ones on their shoulders
my parents HATE tattoos and piercings so there would be be problems if I had visible ones

My FSIL was working at my mom's office when she got her tattoo on her neck... This was about 6 years ago way before me and my FH were engaged, but the first thing my mom said to her was 'oh no! that will def show in Kristin's wedding!!'
I guess my FSIL (who absoluetly adores my mother, so they can really speak their mind to eachother) still remembers when my mom said that, because anytime we talk about BM stuff she mentions how she wants to cover it. (BTW she did cover it for her sisters wedding last year at her sisters request).

I don't have any tats to worry about.....fsil has a lot but they're all beautiful and the ones on her ankle and foot will show in the cocktail dresses I picked. I like them, I think it makes her more individual :)

Well, i have two tattoos- good sized too...but they are under clothes!! BUT 2 of my sisters have ankle tattoos and my other sister had us in short dresses and she didn't ask anyone to cover them up.
BUT my best friend who is getting married this weekend- she has had a lot of issues with her FH's dad, because she is not russian/jewish. The WHOLE family loves her, except for him. THANKFULLY he is starting to come around now- BUT- her little sister has a tattoo on her upper back. Which, she didnt say anything about. BUT she told her like, 6 months before the wedding that she planned on getting a LARGE tattoo on her upper arm. And my friend asked her sister if she could wait to get the tattoo until after the wedding, because there will be a room full of generations back of European Jewish people, and you know the tattoo thing there. And her sister FLIPPED OUT!!! And was TOTALLY mean about it. And honestly, if it was about getting a beautiful tattoo, she would have said 'ok, I will wait.' or at least been nice about it. But it was really about just being that girl with that tattoo. its was terrible!!!! I felt so bad- its like, she had enough issues with his father already, can't we avoid anymore?!?!

I have one tatoo on my ankle, so that shouldn't be an issue.
I used to have my nose pierced, but I took it out because I was sick of taking it out and putting it back in for work. Now I look like I have a giant black head on my nose all the time
None of my BM's have piercings or tatoos, so it's a none issue.
If they had any, I'd let them rock 'em!

i have three tattoos. two of which will only show when we do the garter (they are on my ankles. But i have one on my back that will def. show for my wedding. I'm okay with that. When my sister got married she said she wanted me to cover my back piece, but i told her no. In all of the 'important' pics you cant even see it, so i dont think it should matter. Unless you wanna be like mike tyson and get one on your face, i dont think it should matter where your tattoos are, lol
i would never ask anyone to cover them up... and it wouldnt have made a difference if i did because i had a BM & a GM switch outfits and it happened to be the GM that is covered in tattoos and they were all showing...

I dont have any tats I had my belly button peirced but when i got in my accident they took it out in the hospital and when I got out 2 weeks later it was already closed I never repierced it One of my bms has a tat on her shoulder I dont care if she covers it up or not its her choice

one of my BMs has a half sleeve and i would NEVER ask her to cover them! that's part of who she is! another BM has both feet done, as does my sister. again, i would never ask them to cover them up.
i only have 1 tattoo (on my hip) and just my ears pierced

A couple people in my wedding party have tattoos, including my MOH. Some will show, some wont, but I'm not asking anyone to cover theirs. BUT one of FH's groomsmen has gauges in his ears (YUCK) and I've already told him they better not get any bigger!!!

I have two tats - a treble clef on the inside of my right ankle and a butterfly on my right shoulderblade. I am covering (by choice) the butterfly for the ceremony with a bolero I am having made. then will take it off for the reception and some pictures - they told me they can photoshop it out.

I have just my ears pierced on the bottom and top and I have one tattoo on my foot. I am not planning on covering up the tattoo at all but I think I am going to take out the earrings on the top since ones a barbell and the other a hoop and I don't think it would look nice in pics.
And I am not planning on asking my BMs to cover anything up. They can wear what they want.

i have 4 tattoos but none of them are visible. none of my BM have any tattoos and only have their ears pierced so its not a aproblem for me.

I have a tattoo and i don't know if i want to cover it or not. It is only a small one on my shoulder so not too worried about it. But I will only do it if I want to not because someone else wants me to. My MOH has a few and i won't be asking her to cover it either.
The only thing i asked was my little sister to have normal color hair. Not BLUE, PURPLE or PINK etc (She changes every couple of weeks and looks gorgeous but not for my wedding)
