Tell me if I'm crazy....

Well I know I am. But I'm sure I will get a huge chorus of people telling me I'm crazy for considering this.

Okay, there's a 2 week course I'm dying to take...in Virginia. It ends July 27th. My wedding is August 4th.

Would I be absolutely out of my mind to do this?

Yeah I know...I probably would be. But are there ways to make it work? Could someone tell me what I would expect my life to be like in the month before the wedding, just so I get an idea of what I can handle?

This course is super important to me. Yes I could take it elsewhere, for example locally (duh!), but it is so worth my money to go to Virginia for it. I love my job (teaching elementary music) and these courses are life changing. But if you go to a school with a less than stellar faculty, it can be so disappointing - almost a waste of money.

Alright, alright. Just tell I'm crazy for even considering this! I guess I'm looking for a glimmer of hope, from someone who thinks it's doable.

I think it's definitely possible, as long as you do a lot of preparations beforehand and don't wait until the last minute, and also if you're really organized. We all probably have said we weren't going to wait until the last minute to do things (in life in general, not to mention with our weddings!), but it happens. If you try to do everything possible before your course, and then just do the really last minute things after your course, I think you can do it! I also think if you have a strong support system (BMs, parents, FH, etc.), it will be even better!

Wow! I guess it really IS doable!! My teacher friends all tell me I'm out of my mind.

Married brides- what do you think? How were those 3 weeks prior to the wedding?

I agreee, go for it.

As long as you are well prepared and got your act 2gether you'll do fine! The most important thing is the last few days before the wedding so as long as you're back by then to make al your calls and confirm everythign, you should be able to handle it.

Don't forget to delegate your tasks too if you get busy, that's the key! :D

Well, my BP is my family and they are aaaalll about the wedding, so I should be fine with delegating tasks!

Wow, thank you all so much. I'm so scared to do this...but I know I'd regret taking this course elsewhere. It's just too important for me to settle.
