telling Boss & work options

Hi, haven't been on this board for a while, but turns out, I'm all of 17 1/2 weeks after a MC in May. Didn't take long to get back in the saddle!

So, I'm at the point that I need to tell my boss. I want to present him with what I want to do, ie work at home part of week, etc. Does anyone have a plan they can share of what they presented to boss & hr? I want to go in w guns loaded because I don't think they're going to be too happy. Any presentations anyone can share?

First of all... congrats! You must be thrilled.

I told my boss my anticipated due date and let him know when I thought my last day would be (but I would keep him updated if I needed to leave earlier). I didn't mention anything about what I was going to do when I returned. I'm still not too clear. But my boss is extremely flexible when it comes to scheduling, so I wasn't really worried about that.

If you are thinking about working p/t or from home, I would have the number of days you are willing to work... or you could discuss that with your boss. If you have a great HR person, you could ask him/or her what others have done.
