Thanks everyone for their book suggestions!!!

Here is my reading list to take to the bookstore and look into, split into tier's by preferrence.

Tier 1:
Honor Lost: Love and Death in Modern-Day Jordan by Norma Khouri
Wicked: the life & times of the wicked witch of the west by Maguire
Memoirs of a Geisha Arthur S. Golden
The Charm School Nelson Demille
Lady of Avalon Marion Zimmer Bradley
Priestess of Avalon. Marion Zimmer Bradley
The Forest House Marion Zimmer Bradley

Tier 2:
Jane Eyre Charlotte Bronte
Marrying Mom Olivia Goldsmith
Valley of the Dolls
Poisonwood Bible Barbara Kingsolver
Nanny's Diaries Emma McLaughlin, Nicola Kraus

Tier 3:
Life of Pi ---- a maybe
A Walk to Remember --- a maybe
The Devil Wears Prada --- a maybe

I also have to checkout the chicken soup books, I have never read them!!!

I am leaning towards getting one of the Avalon books, b/c I enjoyed them a lot, and they are SLOW reads (i.e. I will need to take fewer books for the honeymoon).

those Avalon books are heavy though!

fyi - I though Marrying Mom was one of the dumbest books I've read...

Bel Canto, Life of Bees and Pi books weren't quite my taste

Wicked, Memoirs & Charm School - EXCELLENT, excellent choices for Tier 1, imo. Good luck - have fun looking!!!

An important factor in decision what to take is what will Lenny like. I am hoping we can swap books.

I think he'll definitely like charm school. Sounds like his type of CIAish book.
