The Meadow Club Renovations NEED NEW VENUE ASAP!!!!

We are having our reception at the meadow club. I'm not a fan of all the crazy gold in the lobby, but once you are in the room it is fine. What worries me is the menu, half of it is Indian cuisine so I worry that all the American food I chose won't be great. Food tasting Dec 6, fingers crossed that it is good!!!

I don't understand why halls don't go for neutrals. So many places with crazy carpet and decor.

I was concerned about the menu as well. What bothered us the most was the obvious carelessness for any one who was already booked. Every venue we spoke to said that they would never make such dramatic changes at one time because it would be bad business. Please keep me posted on how the food is... I am not a fan of curry so I would have chosen an all american menu as well.

I got mine too! Thank goodness! Good luck with everything else and I hope there's no more speed bumps like this one!

One of my coworkers came up to me the other day and was like 'I drove past the Meadow Club, I don't blame you for leaving! It's terrible!' It used to be a beautiful, old white building... Now it's an old, gold building.

Glad it worked out for you ladies!!! Nightmare diverted!! At least your invites weren't printed as well! I can't believe a venue would make drastic changes like that!

Unfortunately we did have our invites printed already. But luckily I bought a cutter so we can just cut the bottom part off and purchase new reception cards...

Definitely breathing a sigh of relief after getting this refund. We have rebooked our DJ, photographer, and Limos so not its just a matter of paying the bills.
