Stupid question:
Why is it so expensive to have FH add the flowers onto the cake?
Ditto!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I didn't know you had to pay for frozen drinks. This is included in our contract for free, as well as the ice sculpture and vodka/caviar.

I think it is if you want a special station for it...
Everyone can order a Martini...but having the martini bar came with a special station and a menu of over 25 different martinis
I think it is just to *** to it..As well as offering more than just the pina colada or margartia

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
i have a blocking rooms question..i really want to stay at the inn with my bm's the night before my wedding (we get up at 5am for hair and makeup and it would just be easier. fh and i are booked for our wedding night).
but they are booked for 7/2 and i'm on the waiting list. they said that someone getting married on 7/2 blocked a bunch of rooms and i was just wondering if people ever cancel a room from the rooms they ordered.
when people block rooms do they usually know exactly who will be needing them or do they just estimate what they need?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I think they probably just make an estimate and prob. go over just in case. you just reminded me that I should prob. call soon to reserve our room too...I wonder how far in advance I can book it. Does anybody know?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
I gave them a check for my deposit over two weeks ago, and it hasn't hit my bank. What is going on? How long did it take for them to cash your check(s)? I'm getting a little worried.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
OMG I freaked out the first payment I made bc it was like 2/1 weeks befre it was deposited. I was a nervous wreck bc I thought they would release the date or something if they didn't deposit the payment in time! I mailed it in like a week and a half before it was due and then a week after it was due when I got my statement I realized it wasn't deposited yet so I called them. the lady said she had received it and not to worry. So give them a call just to make sure, but I'm sure they have it!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Thanks.I was wondering if anyone had pictures for the large room, next to the bell tower?
I thought Frank told me that was the Garden terrace room. I thought the room above was the Winter something room? I think I may be confused with the rooms. I wasn't able to see the largest room the Fox Hollow has.

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Wanted to keep the thread alive. What are your colors if you're in the Winter Garden Room?
-Mine are ametheyst & gold
How much are you paying per person (general package, w/out extras?)
-tax/grat/mini-vinesse - $89.00
They haven't cashed my check for the deposit yet and it's been over three weeks. totally freaking out. I called Frank Acierno, and he said they posted it, and that I shouldn't be worried. Still, I'm freaking out! LOL

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
~hmmm, i'm not sure on total pp. fh and i unfortunitly didn't know that we should haggle w/ the price (we were too excited that we found a place we liked that was available w/ short notice & affordable.)it's a sunday day wedding it was $65 pp. then we added viennese hour, vodka/caviar station & an ice sculpture=$85pp. not sure about tax and grat.
~my colors are silver and pinks.
~and christine stop worry about the check!
my ?'s:
those of u w/ reception in the winter garden room, how are u planning to set up the tables? i hate the thought of fh and my table being all the way in the back of the room.
also i'd want those closest to us near our table (parents tables and bridal party) but then that leaves us all in the back of the room and all the other people with better views of the dance floor.
how many people do u think u'll have? we are guessing around 120ish and want as few tables as possible to make more room to dance (maybe 11 tables.)

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread
Because the room is so 'rectangular' it is tough with the seating. I wasn't really a fan of sitting in the back either. Maybe the best thing to do is to line up the tables on both sides of the room, and use the entire center as a dancefloor? I dunno. I'm going back there on Saturday to look and take more pictures. If I figure something out, I'll post it!Okay, I'll stop worrying about the check! LOL.
