Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

New Question: what's the deal of the $10 per table centerpiece if we use their in-house florist? if you've used them or are using them, does anyone have any pics/samples of their work?

Another Question: If you're using the Rose/Hunt room, are you having music? I was just thinking of putting some jazz/light music on a cd and having them play it. What's your opinion?

That's all for now folks! TIA!

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

Ok so I went there last night and we chose our entire menu. We chose the pasta duetto - penne ala vodka and orchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe, the japanese hibachi station, 2 carvings-turkey and lamb and then 5 hot chafings. for an additional $10 pp we got the seafood boat with clams oysters shrimp and crab claws.

We didnt add anything to the dinner menu, since they give our guests 7 choices. They give each place setting their own menu with our names printed up top.

For dessert we chose the Vienetta ice cream and our cake is chocolate with chocolate pudding filling. Its a 3 layer square cake with whipped cream icing and they charge $100 to decorate it with flowers. Since Perfect Party planner is doing my flowers, Chris will match the cake decor to the bouquets/centerpieces. Ill probably just try to find a picture for him.

As far as everything else, they gave me all the finalized paperwork and instructions for seating, etc. I did get a little upset bc I found out there will be another wedding starting at 1:30. That reception will be in the Winter Garden Pavillion at 2:30 and mine starts at 1:30 in the Brair Fox. I cant let it bother me even if it is right next door!!! but I am annoyed bc when I booked the place they told me that if there was another wedding the same day it would be on the other side of the hall only...

I only asked bc I wanted to know if my guests would have their own bathroom, but they told me they supply a bathroom attendandt anyway, so I may not do the bathroom basket...

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

That's a good question. Do any of the FH brides of past, suggest having a bathroom basket?

Re: The New FoxHollow Thread

I have been there when the bathroom attendant was there and I definitely think that we do not need to supply our own baskets. I spend time talking to the woman and she told me that she has been the attendant for over 5 years. Her basket was really great and she had lots of good stuff.

Does anyone know how much extra they charge for the chocolate fountain?
