Hi date twin. Not only are we getting married the same date and both at Vanderbilt Mansions we are going to Tahiti on the same day. I bet we are on the same flight too.

We are also staying at the Pearl on both islands. Are you staying in a premium OWB? We couldn't get a beach bungalow they were all booked. So we are in a garden bungalow with private pool.

I saw a few posts from people looking for prices - assume you will spend $1000 a day... so if you will be on your HM for 7 nights assume $7000...it isn't exact but it will give you an idea of what the price will be

Definitely that is a good assumption....trip costs roughly $1000 per day! Then don't forget food and stuff while you're there....I would say at least $100 per day while there...AT LEAST!

1 night Tahiti

Congrats on booking!
I emailed the concierge at the Thalasso to set up the Hotel Bora Bora BBQ for us...so he made reservations for us for that b/c it's only one night a week - we arrive in Bora Bora on the night we go to that dinner/show - I was afraid if we waited until that day to take care of it they wouldn't have room for us.
Not sure what Thalasso has in terms of fire show...I know they have one - just not sure what night it is. I heard the dinner the night of the fire show at Thalasso is not good or worth it. So eat elsewhere early that night so you get back in time to just have drinks at the bar at Thalasso and you can see the show that way.
Only other reservation I set up ahead of time is for dinner at Villa Mahana. Everything else we'll take care of when we get there. Those were just 2 things we def. wanted to do so wanted to make sure we could get reservations.
The Hotel BB BBQ is supposed to be the best fire show/dinner on the island...tons of delish BBQ'd food. And the hotel is famous so we are excited to see the hotel too.

I really want to book a FP HM.
Would anyone mind if I FM you for FP prices & itinerary & TA info so that I can try to talk FH into it? thx

haha - I thought that's what you thought...that's why I wanted to clear it up!
I changed my mind though - I'd figure closer to $100 per person per day for food/drinks. Maybe even a little more. It's quite an expensive trip but totally worth it if you ask me...and I haven't even gone yet!

To me it sounds pretty good I got a similar quote from my aaa preson with some activities and meals included. and I think at the same places.
