Ok its only week one and already I cannot pry FH away from the TV or his computer (Fantasy Football Freak that he is). I cannot deal with this through January. SOMEONE STOP THE MADNESS! We still have an apartment full of boxes that need to be unpacked. I need to be held. I hate this friggin sport. And if one person tells me I should learn to like what he likes, I'll tell them what they can do with a football!

Re: The OFFICIAL FOOTBALL WIDOW'S THREAD
You have no idea how lucky you are. Ed watches every pro and college game. He is in an active Fantasy league and he plays for a city bar on Saturdays. I won't see him on a weekend from now til the wedding.

Re: The OFFICIAL FOOTBALL WIDOW'S THREAD
Thisis quite true. Actually FH and I were having tacos for lunch and I was left to wonder as I read the ingredients to the shredded Mexican cheese. There was JAck, Cheddar and Queso Quesadilla? What exactly is Queso Quesadilla? Quesadilla cheese is NOT a type of cheese.

Re: The OFFICIAL FOOTBALL WIDOW'S THREAD
I have actually made attempts to try to understand it but I give up. I just dont like it and no amount of watching can change that. I repsect his interest and do not keep him from it but he stares at that set like G-d himself is talking. Enough already ya know?

OMG Leslie you beat me to the punch!!! I was going to post the same thing!!!
Andrew is flipping back and forth between 2 football games and the Yankees game!!
So I'm busy doing laundry and will probably run out later to get the gifts for my BMs baby shower. That is, if there's anything left on the registry!!
However, I will now need an escape every damned Sunday because of football!!! Maybe we should all have anti-football get togethers on Sundays!!!

Janna after we are all unpacked, which could be any day now , we could pull a switcheroo and I can send Ed to your place or you could send Andrew to my place and we can talk wedding stuff in the other. Well weddings and cheese that is!

Re: The OFFICIAL FOOTBALL WIDOW'S THREAD
HAHAHAHA I would actually be down with that!!
I don't know if I can deal with this until January!! My only gripe is that my gym is only open until 5pm on Sundays, and I tend to sleep in on Sundays. (However Andrew screaming at the TV tends to wake me up around 1pm!!)
I wish he was into bars. I would send him off to go watch the game at a bar!!

I love sports myself but I can't deal with the fantasy part. Every Sunday he's in front of the computer tracking his guys.

I am sooo with you on this Leslie.. My FH is an ADDICT with his fantasy football league & I have been dealing with this all summer because he was on a fantasy baseball league. Its out of control. Football season just began. This is bad. He on the other computer right now checking out his stats & stuff.

Re: The OFFICIAL FOOTBALL WIDOW'S THREAD
I know what you mean. We personally revolve our schedule around the Mets. And unlike Football...Baseball season is minimum 6 months long
