I am in the middle of getting diagnosed with IBS - i have to go back to the doc monday to rule some other stuff out but we are pretty sure that is what it is
i think i have IBS - A? where basically whichever IBS is LEAST convenient at the time is what i have LOL does that make sense?
I think it's just IBS, the type where you have to make a mad run to the bathroom and most of the time when you're nervous?
the kind where i am home and doing nothing and then i cant go to save my life ( literally ) but the moment i am somewhere public i have to go immediately

yup that's the one I'm talking about. I think this contributes to the anxiety we talked about before. I get anxiety when I have to leave the house because I'm scared of an 'incident'. Does that happen to you?

yes! but then when i am home and i cant go it has gotten to the point where my parents want to take me to the hospital it hurts so bad
fun.
but it took me THREE tries to go dress shopping - returning home twice and then detour to my cousin's house once

around 200 but we are aiming for 150 ( that is our minimum ) we had so many people that we 'have to invite just to be polite but they won't come'
guess what, they all RSVPd YES *before* most of our family. . .
I have only one NO.

I forgot the name and I can't find the pill bottle (you can see how often I use it), but it's a little green pill and slightly resembles prozac. I don't like taking it because it makes me really sleepy and kind of out of it, almost like being on benodryl.
Librax or the generic of it maybe? I used to take it too and it made me soo sleepy. Its green right?

I have IBS too - I've had to go for a colonoscopy and used to be on medication but I stopped taking it because its HORRIBLE. I don't go for days and then I have the opposite problem for a couple days (usually when I'm out or at work - of course)
oh well if you put it that way I have IBS-D I don't know why I thought IBS-D was constipation

yes it's green, I completley forgot the name and they all sound familiar. Maybe librax?
I didn't know that...with all my problems, I never really had a problem with constapation except when i'm on other medication.

Me too. I can go for 2 weeks without going. I've gone as far as getting colonics once a week. One natural remedy that does help a little bit is a supplement called triphala, you can get it at the health food store.

I love that other people understand how I feel, they should rename liweddings the ibs support group, LOL. No but seriously it's uncomfortable and my friends don't understand because they don't have it.
