I noticed there were tons of questions flying around about the Surf Club in New Rochelle, so lets all help each other!

Hi Girls. So it is my turn!! Looking back it has come so fast. I am very excited but honestly so nervous too. I am having anxiety issues. LOL. Anyway, I will definitely post reviews when I get back. Have fun at the showcase.

Yess starts at 7!!! FH and I will be there along with our parents.

I'm actually still looking for a DJ and Videographer so I'm hoping to find something there. But if you ladies have any recommendations, that would be awesome =)

We are using for video Vinny from Satisfaction Guarrenteed and NY Nights is our DJ.

I am looking for cocktail and ceremony music... hopefully they will have something there for me too.

I cant wait I am going with my sister and mother in law.
I found out they only give maps. No menu's or placecards

Only some pasta they are giving tommorrow

for video I am using Duet
but the best video I even saw was def from Golden Moments it was like a movie

Omg just got back the food was AMAZING, EVERYTHING WAS SO GOOD!

The only thing I didnt like was the valet parking kept bringing people the wrong cars, but I think bc it was super busy and also the parking lot is a mess

Also that I had to pay for soda

So happy with my choice!

I had a bigger problem with the Valet. FM me if you want more details. However, I heard that they are renovating the pool area next year.... that means more construction...

That pool is a big problem. And it really $ucks that they don't care.

Other than that at least the renovations look great!

Hey Sandra! What happened with the valet?? Other than the obvious disorganization and lack of guys getting cars?

I asked one of the surf club guys that was standing outside and trying to organize the crowd about valet service during a wedding. Specifically if it is required that guests use valet... because I don't want my guests waiting like that, even on a sunny day. He said that it is RECOMMENDED because there may be other parties at the same time and it may be difficult to park or get out.

Funny thing is as I was 'checking in' at the Everything Bridal table out front, one of the Everything Bridal male employees said to another female employee, 'They really screwed up with this parking job, huh. This is seriously the worst parking lot design I have ever seen.' Then the woman says, 'Shhh' and discretely points at me while I'm filling out the card. The guy says, 'So what, that's ONE person who knows this parking lot *****.' Pretty funny... for someone who just rushed out of work to get stuck in traffic outside of the Surf Club for 15 minutes waiting for VALET, and run through the pouring rain, puddles and flying gravel, i guess.

Otherwise, the food was delish and the renovations (those that are complete) are awesome (although I had seen them already). And I loove the Stolen Moments band.

But I am not happy to hear that they are doing renovations with the pool next year. Hopefully that gets pushed back...

I spoke to Jamie, and he said that the pool thing will happen prior to Memorial day weekend, so all the summer brides have nothing to worry about with the pool construction.

I think it was the Valet service that screwed up last night not the Surf Club. I'll FM you with the detials b/c I really don't want to bad mouth it on here... but its BAD.
