Hey Girls!
I noticed there were tons of questions flying around about the Surf Club in New Rochelle, so lets all help each other!

I guess those minor things are sometimes out of the hands of the SC bc I dont think they own the beach in front of it.I have read before that the beach is dirty etc..

Congrats and I am def doing that lighting package(if it isnt crazy expensive)

Congratulations! Sounds like you had an amazing wedding. I'm getting married at the Surf Club next June, a Saturday evening wedding (ceremony at 6pm), and Carlo has repeatedly assured me that the pool closes at 5pm. Was your wedding during the day? Is that why there were people at the pool and beach?

Hi. My ceremony was Saturday evening at 5:30pm. There were a ton of people at the pool at that time and honestly, I do not know when they left. I wasn't paying attention at that point but I believe we were told the pool closes at 6.

I feel with a beginning of June wedding the weather outside is most likely not pool weather, so I dont think you have to worry

I was really stressed about the whole beach/pool situation through most of my planning. On the day of I was a little irritated during the ceremony but looking back it wasn't that big of a deal. It is going to happen either way, and you can just hope people are respectful. Your day will be beautiful no matter what so my advice is not to worry about it too much. I know it is hard but with all the other things to plan and be concerned about this is minor.

There is the Radisson and the Residence Inn but I'm having my guests stay at the Renaissance Westchester in West Harrison bc my fiance and I went to look at the other two last weekend and they were disgusting.

How far away is that one from the Surf Club? Is that the one that is 20 min with the shuttle.

Yes, we're using the shuttle that the hotel recommended - Red Oak, its like $800 all inclusive trips for the day.

correct me if I am wrong, but I think Westchester Floral has one that we are using. I am not 100%, i have to look at the paperwork. But I totally wanna use one.

Yes, we met with Danny last night and he asked if I wanted a runner. I had no idea so I told him to include it for now. I wasn't sure if most people used them but he said it looked nice and would keep the dress from getting dirty.

White, the shade depending on the shade of you dress (if your dress is slightly off white he would do a little darker so your dress doesn't look yellow against it-love him). He said to let him know the exact shade since most dresses aren't pure white.
