Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
the lobby of the WCC is absolutely beautiful with a baby grand piano and other little 'nucks' that a good photographer would see to take picutres in.as for hotels, my guests used the 'Best western and the marriott on rt 110...not too far.
as for the hilton, check some old threads on here because i know some girls have run into a few gliches with them
i would highly recommend the WCC to EVERYONE

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
For the girls who have already gotten married at the WCC and had their CH inside, I was wondering if you really hear the piano streaming into the room during the CH. I didn't book the DJ for the CH because I like the idea of the piano music. Thanks!

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
My daughter hired a harpist and as nice as the idea seemed, she wasn't heard at all. We had almost 200 guests, and with all the talking, unless you were right next to her, you weren't even aware of her presence. I imagine you are referring to the pianist in the lobby? I thought he played only during the 'pre-cocktails', which we missed because the limo drivers didn't have directions!!! UGH! - that's another story!

I made my mom in charge of this actually. I hate calling hotels and making reservations, I dont know why.
But the Huntington Hilton seemed the best price and the lady was most helpful. It is about 5 miles from WCC.
No deposit was necessary.
