I used that room and could have sworn in was 225...

I know I had about 197 people and it was fine.

Can past WCC brides please post pics of their cakes (the ones that were included in WCC menu).? I forgot what my options are and I am curious again with all this talk of cake!

This was my cake but I suggest that as another bargaining tool, bring pictures of about 3 cakes you love and make sure that you have them add those pics to your file and write in the contract that you are entitled to one of those 3 cakes. That's what I did and the cake I got was supossed to be extra but it wasnt.

We attended a wedding a year ago here and I just want to remind you all that it's a lovely place and the service and food was impeccable! I've been to some other halls and honestly thought

about the food and service.

I just did my menu tonight and it was great. I want to let you know that they have put new carpet in the downstairs room and new ceiling tiles - they got rid of the popcorn ceiling. They are thinking about putting in crown molding as well and a few other items. It also looks like they painted the wall outside.

I am getting so excited !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They painted the outside wall in the back by the pool? If they did I will be so happy, it looked kind of icky last time I was there.

question.. i was under the impression that you could only use the downstairs (including all the outside areas) if you booked that room, in fact when i was there the guests from the upstairs room were outside only in the front by the valet. does anyone know exactly what goes on?? thanks

I was told that the areas that you are allowed to roam around are kind of sectioned off depending on which room you book. I believe if you book the upstairs reception hall you are allowed to use the bridge area and the downstairs reception hall has the grounds on the other side. However if the other wedding is not there yet or not outside you may be able to sneak in a few quick pictures.

If you use the upstairs room you can use the bridge area for pictures and the ceremony. If you use the downstairs room you can use the pool & tent area for pictures, ceremony and cocktail hour.

Just wanted to let you WCC ladies that you have nothing to worry about in the case of food, grounds, serving staff, bartenders, and bridal attendant at the WCC. My wedding was great. The only problem we had was with the maitre'd. He wasn't there when we needed him, but otherwise it was great. Good luck to you future WCC brides.

Oh, there was a little showcase there with recommended vendors. I couldn't go bc I live in Westchester, but I was trying to urge my mom to go to check it out for me! She didn't end up going...but I'm sure there wil be more! I'd love to go to the next one!
