The party I went to with FH that we had to pay $30....
Well, as you know I posted this on Thursday.A coworker/friend of FH invited us over to her house for a GTG- and she charged $30.
Well the invite stated a 4pm start time- we arrived at 630pm (it was raining so hard we left late)
When we got there she was still setting up- a big pet peeve of mine- (have things ready on time)
It was ok- food was tasty- but to have to pay to eat at someone's house is outrageous, so I guess that ruined my mood.
I watched as people discreetly slipped her money- it was appalling!!!!!
I never really found out the reason for this admission charge, however FH says she wants to start a catering business- so I guess this is how she is going to fund it.

I had a nice time because I was with FH and some of his coworkers who I am very friendly with, but the whole premise of this affair- quite nervy.

I still can't get over the fact that they charged their guests and expected them to pay for the food.

20-25 ppl were there.About a handful of people from their job, the rest were her friends and family.
