Okay, this is for all of us that pigged out this weekend!
Since we all agreed that we have all had a little too much to eat and drink during the weekend BBQ's- let's help eachother get motivated to get back on track! What will you do this week to erase all the bad eating you did this past weekend?

I'm too poor for a gym!
I'm usually pretty good with doing crunches and stuff but I've been slacking lately. I don't need to lose too much (maybe like 5 pounds) but I need to do SOMETHING about my hips/thighs. They're so out of proportion to my body!
I was thinking about getting one of those tiny stepper machines - not the big ones, they're kind of just like a little stepper without the hand holds or anything. Has anyone used one or even know what I'm talking about?
You could always go to a track and walk/run instead of going to the gym- it's free and a great way to stay in shape!
I think I know which machine you are talking about. I never tried it. I use an elliptical at the gym and like it. I know which machine you are talking about. I can't see that being good for your back without the arm support. I suggest getting an elliptical machine with the arm supports. It's important to be comfotable while you are working out.

Definitely...a friend of mine has one of those machines and its really awkward and not a great workout..go for a walk outside wiht a weighted backpack...thats a great workout!

Steppers work your butt more then your hips/thighs! You should do floor work for thighs easy at home moves. Leg lifts, lateral raises, squats, lunges things like that. HTH!

I'm getting back on track this week too. This morning I woke up a half hour early and did the Biggest Loser video on the Exercise on Demand channel and after lunch I'm going to the gym to do some more cardio. I have a trainer once a week. Really my biggest problem is portion control. I can easily eat as much as my 5'11 fiance and I'm only 5'4 and obviously weigh much less! Writing down everything I eat works best for me. I have to hold myself accountable for everything I eat and not sneak food!
