The wedding is off...

My suspicions were correct about him. He wasn't excited about the wedding because he felt the whole engagement was a mistake and after 4 years, he tells me NOW that he hasn't been happy in YEARS?! I had no clue. I'm angry because I'm such a fool. I saw signs here and there but I REALLY didn't think it was cause for alarm. He left me yesterday. I have nobody...my family is in Florida and it looks like that's where I might be going. I can't pay the rent by myself. I'm just so devastated....but at the same time I feel relieved. I've been divorced already. This could have been another failed marriage. I wish you all the best...you're a great group and I've SO enjoyed chatting with all of you. You'll all be beautiful brides!!!

I am so sorry!! I know it it hard to believe, but like you said, it is better to know now then later....It will take sometime & it is difficult to be away from your family when you are going through this....In due time you will find someone that is willing to be with you & happy to be with you...don't blame yourself for any of this! Just because you saw signs & didn't act on them does not make you a bad person!

Keep your head up & know that you are a wonderful person & have a lot to offer someone!

Take it one day at a time. Definetly move closer to your family, you need the support system right now. Often couples become so comfortable in relationships they often don't realize that there are problems. It is not your fault and in time things will get better.

I'm really sorry to hear that things have gone the way they did. I am happy to hear that your family is still there for you. I guess the only honesty you had was your own. There seems to be a couple others brides who have found out things weren't as they seemed. I honestly don't feel you have to be a bride to be on here. The ideas and thoughts you have given have in some way impacted a future couples lives. So in reading this think of what happiness you have given them so selfishly and let it warm your heart as the days count down to your very own special day. Best wishes to you in everything you do. Don't settle for that which makes you uneasy.
