hey ladies.. sorry i haven't been on too much this week... but ever since My eparty sunday.. i've been a little down. I've just been feeling sad ...and things just seem to not be going my way.. i just haven't even felt like thinking about the wedding... it's just depressing at this point. And So far things just seem to be getting sadder.. monday we found out my 16 year old cousin was in the hospital.. his brother called my grandmother to ask her what kind of cancer my grandfather had because they were testing 2 lumps they found. Well last night we got the results and it's Hodgkin's.. They seem to feel that he's in great health and that they got it early..but it's still pretty scary. They were just up visiting in august and were here for our mini eparty/FH's bday party that we had in our yard(they moved down to florida 3 years ago).. and he seemed to be feeling fine.. so it's a little shocking. We had no idea that he had even noticed a lump. When i heard i just assumed it was probably an infection of some kind.. I had a swollen lymph node on the back of my neck a few months ago that was there forever..but it was small.. i had it checked right away cause i get scared.. and they said it was just reactive.. so i figured it would be the same for him. Now he will be undergoing treatment.. so i just really hope all goes well and i guess i have to believe that it will. So now at this point that's all i know... and it seems like a horrible end to a horrible week. I'm just so tired.. ya know what i mean.. and i feel seriously helpless ...i'm also tired of going up and out of my way for everyone and when it comes to me no one does anything.. unless of course it's because they feel like they have to .. not cause they want to.. and yet even with that.. i'm still too nice to people and i have no idea why.. and now on top of already feeling crappy about things.. i get bad news.. and dealing with that on top of everything is just not going well .. i'm just not good at this stuff.. And i know nobody is..but i just feel tired now..
well..Thanks for listening ladies.. even if it turns out that i made no sense.. some prayers for my cousin would be greatly appreciated.. and i could def. use some hugs right about now ...

so sorry! It will get better..promise.
I work in the 'cancer' field and many many young men come in with Hodgkins and it has a reasonable cure rate. A friend of ours had it too about 6-7 years ago and he is doing just fine. Keep your head up.
As for the noone caring about your wedding thing. I feel the same way alot and have come to the conclusion that I will do this with as little help as possible from BP or anyone for that matter. As the day comes closer thats when everyone is going to want to join in. You will see.

sorry to hear of the bad news, but as you said they caught it early on....Keep your head up and your fingers typing....we and/or I am hear if you need to talk, vent or type.....good luck!

thanks again ladies. From what i was told... he should be out of the hospital in a few days after his first round of treatments.. so we will see how it goes from there. Thank you for all your support... it's def. comforting

im so sorry that all of this is going on but im really glad to hear that she will be out of the hospital in a few days...keep your head uo...shell get through this!
