I think that's a great color. I don't think you should be too concerned with the time of year if that's what you really want.

mine was early Sept & I used a mix of purple, blue, pink & white.

the rules are kind of out the window these days, even more so with a september wedding. you can always use summery flowers to brighten up the darker dresses if you feel like it looks out of place.

If its an evening wedding it should be okay. Or you can add a light color to it as well. Like burgandy and creme or yellow .
You can also do chocolate and light pink or tiffany blue.

Go with the wine and burgundy! It doesn't matter what Month it is IMO.

hey I completley undertand your problem. i am getting married September 18 and a few onths ago iwas having the exact same dilema. I decided to go with an apple red. I felt like a burgandy would be to dark and its not a winter wedding. I have a couple pics of BM dress colors on my albulm if you wanna take a look. Good Luck

My friend had a jan. wedding and did a cotton candy pink and mint green. very spring colors but it was still nice. her only prob was the price for the flowers. you can do what ever you want. i do think the colors you want are perfect for the time of year too!

I think that would really be very nice for that season & like everyone has said, do what makes you happy! I am doing Choc. Brown & Baby Pink in Oct. it's want i knew I wanted since day one no matter what time of year!

mine is 9/27/08 and I'm doing tiffany blue. I consider that time of year to be late summer. It'll still be warm and FH didn't want any dark colors. I like the wine -- go for it!
Just a warning to others considering using tiffany blue -- it has been a pain in the a$$ to find the perfect shade and coordinate everything

You can do any colors you want. My wedding is the same date and I am going more towards summer with blue and yellow.
