Ok we went to register at a 2nd place on saturday, we went to crate and barrel...I have to give him credit though bc he picked out alot of the things and they are great and coordinated everything together. BUT he put a $1,000 day bed which is like a couch you put in the living room on our registry. I started cracking up and saying no we dont put furniture on the registry and he questioned me why not lol. He said he doesn't care, this will be an item for either his mom or aunt to buy for him and yes they do spoil him that much. He said obviously ppl aren't gonna feel they have to spend it theyll spend whatever and ppl know big items are usually for the parents, but hes still out of his mind lol.
Most of our items are very fairly priced, its a wide range with MANY MANY MANY things $100 and under and then just a few higher priced items...i did stop him before he put on a whole living room set lol
here is the day bed, he thought it was the most comfortable thing and it actually was.
you will be amazed at the generosity of some people
my aunt and two cousins got ALL of my formal china! 12 place settings, two servings sets, even the teapot and S&P shakers!!! AND they still got me other little things!
some people are just awesome like that!

LoL Oh i understand where you are coming from!!!! FH has a $1200 Massage chair on our registry!!! LoL I tried to stop him but it didn't work too well!!!!!!

I was at Crate and Barrel on Saturday too -- which one were you at? We were in Manhassett.
If it were up to FH I think we would register for everything and anything!

That is very nice!! keep it on your reg. I didnt know there was a price limit on reg. Usually close fam, siblings etc buy the expensive stuff, its ok

well he knows he can get it from his mom or his aunt. His mom wanted to see it before. He tried to also put a $500 table on the registry and in the store got on the floor and went under the table to scan it but it wasnt going through lol

that's very nice!! you never know, someone could always get it. FMIL bought all over our formal china already, and that totaled about $1200. when people have it, they do share, esp for wedding.

well usually you dont see furniture on there...if i wouldve let him there would be a bedroom set, living room set and dining room set on there
oh and he is going to put a plasma on one of them but thats bc he was given the hint to do so bc he'll get it

Its nice. Keep it on there. I am not sure about C&B but I know fortunoff gives you a percentage off of your registry items for a year up to the wedding.
FH and I plan on putting furniture on our registry right before the wedding so after we can buy with the discount.

oh he called his mom as soon as we left the store to let her know he put on a daybed for her and his aunt to buy
he also has emailed me, his mom and his aunt all the things he wants for x-mas

hahah he is not crazy., in italian family's (i know ur Fh is italian) the brothers and sisters furnish the house. So yea maybe his siblings will get him the couch hahahahhah or parents...
yea i was shocked at what people purchased FH's godmother bought our entire fine china set.
FIL's bought our bedroom furniture
My parents got us our living room furniture.

I actually put some furnisher knowing family would buy it too. lol like armoirs and i put a nice sectional on it too but my mom* will purchase that b4 i unblock my registries...
