We met at work, I was a bartender, he was the chef. He was hired the day after me!

We met online too .. on Yahoo ..

At first, he only contacted me to bust my chops about being a Yankee fan (he's a diehard Mets fan..) And in my ad I specifically said 'all Mets fans need NOT apply .' So he thought he would be funny when he emailed me and said 'I'm a Mets fan and I DARE you to write me back .. PS, Derek Jeter sucks!'

I admired his 'guts' and HAD to respond to someone like that (I can never let anyone get the 'last word'!) And after we argued about baseball for a few weeks , we realized that we simply LOVED everything else about each other !!!

And I'd be lying if we said we both didn't like one anothers pics.. I thought he was hot, and (so he says) the feelin was mutual

I thank my lucky stars we both signed up for ONE MONTH ONLY on YAHOO!!

PS: And we STILL both hate one another's teams!!

To make a long story short...I was dating his best friend almost 9 years ago. He wound up developing feelings for me while I was dating his friend and it turned into this teenage love triangle drama. After much, much drama, we lost touch and then met again 4 years later at a New Year's Eve party we both went to only because we found out the other might be there. We've been together ever since.

We met on Yahoo although neither of us was looking for love at the time. We were both in just a regular NYC chat room. We grew up about 10 minutes from each other our whole lives!

Another successful Love@AOL connection. He answered my ad (also with no pic). We did wind up exchanging pics before we met. Turns out we grew up in the same town and went to the same H.S. I even played softball with his sister.....small world! Totally fate at it's best.

High school 17 years ago. My BF dated his BF. He liked me I didn't like him, so we remained friends all along until 5years ago when we started dating.

We met while working at Grand Union when we were 17, started dating senior year! In September that will be 10 years ago. We outlasted the Grand Union! LOL

We met on Yahoo too! I answered his ad. He was the only guy I ever actually dated from that and we've been together ever since.
I was very nervous trying it but I guess it does work out!

My mother recruited me to escort my two younger brothers to a birthday pary. His mother did the same to him with his younger brother. Low and behold we met at a kiddie birthday party.

Dickinson Dining Hall, SUNY Binghamton. He sat down to have lunch with my ex-boyfriend and his roommate who he'd taken a class with the previous year. I didn't like him.

5 years later, he proposed in that very spot!

On the internet...match.com for us. I posted an ad (because it's free)...he responsed. He said he printed my profile picture and looked at it all the time. We had a few emails back and forth (I have them all...even the rough draft he did before he actually responded!). Then we spoke on the phone. We went out on one date...have been inseprable ever since. He moved in with me after 2 months...5 months later we were engaged..7 months later we will be married!

I always tell him that its the best $25 he ever spent (because he had to join as a member in order to email me)

I met FI in High school. He grauduated in 96 I in 99.
We didn't hook up till a year after I graduated.

I met him the first day on the job. I was early and had no idea where I was going so he held the door open for me and let me in the building. He pointed me in the right direction and after two weeks there I would up in the same department as him. We were friends for over three years before he finally asked me out. He had a crush on me all along but the timing was never right. By this point we were the best of friends already. Two and a half years later after both moving to different departments we are in the same one again and engaged.
