Time

What time is your ceremony & what time is your CH & reception?

Are you worried about having enough time for photos?

FH & I are getting married at 11am. We are having a full mass ceremony which will be about 45-60 minutes. We should be done by 12. We then will take some photos at the chapel and then head off to the RH. We then plan to take all of our photos and HOPEFULLY make it to some parts of the CH but are OK if we don't. Our cocktail hour is 1-2 and our reception starts at 2. I am just hoping that is enough time for photos!

Time

We're getting married at the RH, so my day is scheduled a little differently. We're doing reveal pics and then heading over to the RH for the ceremony and reception. My photographer told me to leave about 2 hours for photos, so I plan on getting to the picture site around 2:30, taking pics until around 4:30 and then getting to the RH by 5 for our 6pm ceremony. I'm hoping that will give me some time to get pictures at the RH before guests start arriving.

Time

I'm doing a reveal as well so that way we don't miss any of the cocktail hour. I heard that you will need about two hours to get all of your pictures done, but I'm sure that varies, you'll definitely have enough time to get all your pictures and be able to enjoy the reception.

Time

I figured because we aren't doing a reveal it would eat into our CH which stinks because there is going to be LOADS of food but we have a very small BP so I am hoping that makes it much quicker for the photos.

Time

I'm doing a reveal also. Although my ceremony starts at 11:30am, we are signing our Ketubah (Jewish marriage lisence) at 11:00am, so I think we're going to leave 2 hours before for photos. I'm going to be up really early that day. Lol

Time

Ceremony at 3 or 3:30 and should only last 30 mins at most. We're not doing a receiving line so that saves us mucho time. We plan on taking pictures at a park until about 5,than get to the reception hall to take a few and hopefully will be at the beginning of our cocktail hour at 6.

Re: Time

Our ceremony is at 2pm and it should take about 45-60min, so that gives us time to get to the RH (which is about 35min away) & take pictures..then CH starts at 6:30pm. So we are hoping to have enough time for pictures and yet enjoy CH

Time

My ceremony is at 1:00pm then cocktail hour starts at 6:30pm. The sun sets at 4:30 on our day so we wanted to have enough time for plenty of pictures.

Time

My ceremony is at 7pm, however I'm also another lady that's having it at the RH. Because of this, and the desire of FH and I to be at our CH, we're doing all of our photos beforehand. I'll probably start working out the timeline much closer to the date, but I want a big chunk of time (like 2 hours) of just pictures of FH and I. The photographer was something I splurged on, so I want to make sure I get my money's worth by getting some awesome shots!

Have you talked to your photographer about it? They might be able to give you some experienced advice!

Time

My church ceremony is at 3pm and we will probably be at the RH to start taking pictures around 4:45-5pm. Our hospitality hour starts at 6pm and then the cocktail hour is at 7pm. I'm sure we will have enough time for pictures before cocktail hour starts.

Time

I haven't finalized everything yet because I dont meet with the priest until the 12th. But I'm think ceremony at 2 or 2:30. Then pictures in a park 5 minutes away. The rh is 5 minutes away from there and I'm thinking of starting my cocktail hour at 6 or 6:30.

He said that it was PLENTY of time since we have such a small BP and they know our venue really well. I trust him but am getting nervous haha I think I just would love to eat at the CH and have to come to grips with that not happening because even if we were there we would have to do the mingling make our rounds and wouldn't be able to just eat lol

Re: Time

This is something I'm so nervous about. We decided we will be attending the cocktail hour. We r getting married at the rh too at 1130. We are doing the reveal before. Then ch at 1215-115 and 115-515 the reception. So haven't worked out all the details or even where I'm going to get my hair and make up done. But thinking pics at 9-11 should be plenty of time granted if we are all ready on time !
