tip the priest???

Our church asks for a "donation" of $300 to get married there. Are we supposed to tip the priest, also??? If so, what is an appropriate amount?...$50???

tip the priest???

My church asks for $500 plus $200 for the pre-cana. I've heard that you are suppose to tip the priest anywhere from $50-$100. I guess it depends on how well you know him.

tip the priest???

Our parish charges $500 so we're definitely not tipping the priest but we will probably give the alter boys $10 a piece. I think it also depends on your relationship with the priest - if you know him since childhood - I think proper etiquette would be to tip anywhere from $20 - $50. Hope this helps.
