I did not use one. No regrets. The day went smoothly, my Maitre'd and Bridal Attendant were on top of everythng. A DOC would have been a waste of money, IMO.

we did not...and I didnt think it was necessary at all.. our day ran so smoothly, and quite frankly, IMO- i think your bridal party can do alot that a DOC does. Also, if you are organized, you can square away alot of the little things before that you dont need to even worry about the day of. Once you are at your RH .. your maitre'd and bridal attendant are at your beckoning( at least mine were)

It really depends on the type of person you are. My mom and I planned everything out for my wedding, WE coordinated every detail and did a good job (if I do say so myself) of making sure everyone was aware of what was expected of them.
No, I didn't have a DOC and my day ran beautifully!! For me, it didn't matter if everything was perfect or not, I was going to enjoy my day no matter what. But for those brides who are going to stress about everything and worry about the 'small stuff' then I think a DOC could certainly be beneficial.

I had one and although she was great, I honestly didn't find it necessary. I had given a copy of all my contracts to someone incase of an emergency w/ a vendor. At the Old Westbury Gardens for pictures they have a bridal attendant that stays with you so she was a wonderful help there. At Flowerfield my two bridal attendants were OUTSTANDING, there was no reason for anyone else. Everytime I turned around the bridal attendants had my lipstick, a wet rag, the steamer, a drink..ect.
