Should I ask thatmy shower be kept a secret or should I ask that I know about it. All I really want to know is the date so that I keep the date open (I work a part-time job on weekends). Plus, I'd like to look nice for it, so it'd be nice to get my hair and make-up done for it.
Thoughts?

Re: To know or not to know...
I know my shower date. I travel for work and work a part time job so I need to know to have that date open. Shower's do not have to be a surprise. FMIL was irked when I said I knew the date, but whatever it's my shower. I was getting one anyway!

I am with you, I couldn't decide but I think now more and more I would rather know it isn't a big deal in my opinion and I would rather show up looking decent than rolling out of bed! Plus no one can really keep secrets from me I just end up finding out!

I definitely wanted to know. I dont like surprises, plus my sister and niece were in town that weekend for it and I wouldnt have wanted to miss the time with them. If it was a surprise, I wouldnt have know they were in town.

I think i'm pretty creative enough... but i'm pretty sure that no matter what i come up with, the cookie trays will definitely be a give away!
