We have been dealing with a total scheister on a FSBO townhouse...but our RE agent is awesome...and got us the price and deal we wanted!!!

our bid was accepted tonight for a 3 story townhouse!!!! (in La Jolla...for those that know San Diego)

our fixer upper never came through...so we decided to withdraw and accept this one!!!

OK...so our inspection went well...but I forgot to take pictures of the downstairs...since we were busy measuring as well....

heres the outside...

and heres the master suite...

the ugly ugly bathroom that will be ripped out

I got really pissed at the seller...b/c as we were leaving hes like you got a great deal...its really worth $20K more...so I said...its worth what the buyer is willing to pay...

if he could get 20K more why did he come grovelling to us when we wouldn't buy until it was on our terms??

When are you going to contract?

yeah...I wish he wasn't there...but what can you do...

I'm not sure about contract ot be honest... we could be in it already?

I keep thinking about the quote from Back to the Future 2...in the future they got rid of lawyers and everything goes much quicker now (no offense to lawyers...i love the law)...but this housebuying in CA is so fast...

we looked at this place on 2/8 and we will have the keys on 3/12!!!!!!
