I took two of my girls today. I took the third yesterday. We had fun. The two today tried on a dress that they really like. If it looks decent on the third girl, it will be a done deal. What do you think of this dress in this color?

I'm sorry I am so obsessed. I guess I had a few dresses in mind and this was something that I found while we were shopping and it wasn't my first choice but the two girls who were there were SO excited and I feel steamrolled over and I DO like it but I am confused it just need to know that they look good together.

I have to agree with this. Your dress has such a romantic look about it...I don't see that with the BM dress. JMO though.

I had picked out a few tank style empire waist dresses that I liked for the girls and I pulled this one because I know that one of the girls has stomach issues and I was thinking this might have a slimming effect. Well they LOVE it and now I don't know what to do. I know that it could ultimately be my decision, but I they looked so happy when they tried it on. They even joked and said if I didn't pick that dress, they wouldn't be in the bridal party (not true, but meant to show me how much they like it)

It comes with a shawl. Will that make a difference?

Thanks for the compliments on my dress. I love it! I have wanted it since I saw it in a magazine two years ago when a friend was getting married...

In addition to worrying about the style next to your gown, I would also concern myself with the color. It may help to take a swatch of your gown and put it next to the BM's dresses. For example, a pure white bridal gown and an antique ivory gown will play off the BM's colors differently. Just my opinion here! Good luck.

I love those dresses (the one they tried on) and dont' think that they will clash at all. If they are happy with it, then why won't you go for it? But if you like the other one better and they are happy with it, then you should feel more comfy. I personally would rather my BM's feel comfortable in what they are wearing... as long as they don't glow more thanme

I really love this second BM's dress. The soft green would be gorgeous with your white one. The top is much more elegant than the first.

I just wish I knew how to get them to go with my choice. I don't want to be bridezilla and tell what they are wearing. The third bridesmaid (the one with the stomach/mid-section trouble spot) has yet to try on the wrap style Jordan (the spaghetti strap one). I told the two who tried on the Jordan that we can decide when the third girl tries it on. I told that if she looks good in it, it will be a go, but if she looks so bad in it that is takes away from how good the other two look, then we will have to reconsider.

Can you go back with your BMs and try on your dress with the 2 different BM dresses? Maybe you will all get a better feel for which dress you all like, then.
